In a nutshell: a team of skilled builders local to Haywards Heath, who prove popular in many nearby locales throughout the mid-Sussex area, including Lindfield and Burgess Hill. We’ve completed countless projects over the many years we’ve been working together, from house extensions and home refurbishments, to garage conversions and all aspects of landscaping.
Fiercely proud of our reputation for quality workmanship, we handle almost everything in house – including groundworks and drainage. The only elements sub-contracted are the implementation of electrical and plumbing infrastructure, which are taken on by teams we have strong relationships with, who we’ve been working alongside for so many years they’re essentially an extension of our team!

Simon Butterfield – Starting out in the industry as a bricklayer, Simon went on to found Butterfield Construction, which completed hundreds of construction jobs all across West Sussex. This experience, which included quoting for each individual client and overseeing the project from start to finish, makes him an invaluable part of Silverbirch Construction Services Ltd. His expertise also informs the advice he offers to our clients during the initial consultation, and throughout the project as a whole.
Dave West – A bricklayer and plasterer by trade, Dave has been with Silverbirch Construction Services Ltd for over 13 years now. This experience and his deep understanding of the construction trade make him Simon’s right hand man and site manager when he is away.
Brian Buckman – Overseeing all first and second fix carpentry as Silverbirch Construction Services Ltd’s chief carpenter, Brian’s skills extend also to all other aspects of building work, in which he assists Dave and Simon.
